Free exports are 720p with a small watermark, one aspect ratio at a time, using the free templates and a starter set of effects. A free account (no credit card) is needed to export, and exporting a project that uses a Pro template, effect or promo sticker, a higher resolution or several ratios at once needs Pro.

Yes. Templates, effects and promo stickers marked with a crown are free to preview with your own photos — you see exactly how they move and look. Pro is only needed when you export, so you can decide with your own footage in front of you.

Not by default. Rendering and exporting both happen on your own device — nothing is sent to a server unless you are on Pro and choose to sync a project to the cloud.

Projects autosave locally in your browser as you work. With Pro you can also sync projects to the cloud and pick them up on another device — cloud sync is not part of the Free plan.

Yes. There are dozens of image effects, and growing, in these families: Text & Characters, Pixels, Print, Painted & Drawn, Light & Colour, Glass, Signal, Blur and Distort. Pick one for any photo or for the frame background and it works in every template. Each effect has its own sliders, and it is applied before the motion starts, so the preview and the exported video match. A starter set is free; Pro unlocks all of them. Effects apply to still photos — GIFs and video clips keep their own look.

Yes. Drop MP4, WebM or MOV clips into any media slot next to your photos and GIFs. They play inside the 3D scene and loop to fit, and they stay on your device. Animatoa doesn’t cut or trim video — it puts your clips into a template and moves them.

Yes. Pick one of the built-in background tracks, upload your own and choose where it starts, or use the sound of a video clip in one of your slots. One sound plays at a time, it loops to match your video length, and the volume you set is the volume you export.

MP4 or WebM, in any aspect ratio you pick, up to 8K on Pro, depending on your device (Free exports 720p with a small watermark, one ratio at a time) — and with Pro you can render several ratios together in one pass, zipped into a single download. Files are named after your project, the template, the ratio and the resolution, so they are easy to find later.

Every template’s default motion is built to loop cleanly, and any keyframes you add on top are yours to shape.

Chrome, Edge, and Safari (16.4 or newer) all work great. Firefox support is spottier right now.

Yes — every video you export from Animatoa, on Free or Pro, is fully yours. You get full commercial rights to use it on your store (Shopify, Etsy), social media, or paid ads. We do recommend Pro for ad performance, since there’s no watermark in the way.

Because everything renders right in your browser using local rendering — we don’t need expensive servers to process your video. We pass that saved infrastructure cost straight back to you as a much lower subscription price.

Cards worldwide (billed in US dollars, processed securely by Polar, or by Dodo Payments if you prefer — you pick at checkout). In Indonesia you can also pay in rupiah with QRIS, a bank-transfer virtual account or an e-wallet — those payments are made on Mayar’s secure payment page and don’t renew automatically: you get an email with a payment link before each period ends.

Yes. You never type payment details into Animatoa: card payments happen on the hosted checkout of our payment partner and merchant of record — Polar by default (cards processed by Stripe, PCI DSS-compliant; Polar doesn’t store full card numbers), or Dodo Payments if you choose it (independently assessed as a PCI DSS Level 1 service provider, the highest level for handling card data) — and rupiah payments happen on Mayar’s own payment page (Mayar states PCI DSS, ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance on its public trust center). Your card, bank or e-wallet details go straight to them over an encrypted connection — we only get a confirmation that the payment succeeded, and we never see or store the details.

Yes, one method at a time so you’re never billed twice. Cancel the card subscription (or stop renewing the rupiah payment) — Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for — and then subscribe with the other method.

Yes, no drama. Cancel anytime on your workspace page (Manage billing for a card, Stop renewing for rupiah), and you’ll keep Pro until the period you paid for ends. If a renewal payment fails, Pro stays on for 3 more days so you can fix it.
